  • JRF Maximum Age : 31 Years

  • Age Relaxation is Applicable as per govt Norms.

NTA UGC NET June 2025 – Qualification Eligibility

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidate must have a Master’s Degree or Equivalent from a recognized university/institution.
  • Minimum 55% marks (Without rounding off) for General/Unreserved category.
  • Minimum 50% marks for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PwD/Third gender candidates.

2. Subject Accepted:

  • The Master’s Degree should be in subjects like Humanities, Social Science, Computer Science, Electronics Science, etc. (as per UGC NET subject list)

Final Year Students:

  • Candidates who are in the final year of their Master’s Program or waiting results are also eligible, but they must pass third exams with the required percentage within the stipulated time.

Ph.D. Holders:

  • Ph.D. Degree holders whose Master’s level examination was completed by 19th September 1991 are eligible for a 5% relaxation in marks (i.e. 50% instead of 55%)

  • Visit the Official Website: Click on “Apply of UGC NET June 2025“:

  • Read Instruction carefully and click Proceed.
  • Fill in Your Basic Details like name, contact number, email ID, and create a password
  • Fill the online Application Form
  • Logging with your credentials.
  • Fill in the full application form with personal details, educational qualifications, subject and exam city preferences.
  • Upload Documents: Passport Size Photograph (recent, in JPG format), Signature, Category/EWS/PwD certificate (if applicable)
  • Pay the Application Fee: Pay the fee through online mode (Credit/Debit card, Net Banking, UPI)
  • Download Confirmation Page: After successful payment, download and print the confirmation page for your records.
