• Online Application Start: Expected in June/July 2025
• Last Date to Apply: September/October 2025
• Admit Card release: January 2026 (Tentative)
• INVST Exam Date: January 2026 (for Phase 1), April 2026 (for Phase 2)
• Result Declaration: April/May 2026

Eligibility Criteria: 

• Candidate must be studying in Class 5 in a government or recognized school in the 2025-26 session.
• Age should be between 01-05-2013 and 30-04-2025 (Both Dates inclusive)
• The Student must apply from the district where they are studying in Class 5th.

Selection Porcess: 

• Selection will be based on JNVST (Jawahar Navodaya vidyalaya selection test).

Exam Mode: offline (OMR-type)

Duration: 2 hours

Document Required::

• Recent Passport size photo
• Signature of the Candidate
• Parents’ Signature
• Residence certificate
• Caste Certificate
• Class 5 Bonfire certificate (as per NVS format)

How to Apply:

  • Click on “Class VI JNVST 2026 Registration” link.
  • Read the insurrections carefully and click “Proceed to Apply”.
  • Fill in student details, upload documents, photo and signature.
  • Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
  • No application fee is required
